Heatwave proof ! Bride for the day

Q? Is my Hair & make up going to last in this heatwave.

A. Yes

Q? How?

A. I've put in some 'serious' research and tried out some new products that from feedback so far in this heatwave. 'I beat the heat' with both hair & make up!!!

Starting with skin prep, using 'Glow recipe' products to ensure a clean fresh base. Even Oily skin has surface dehydration in this hot humidity and continued use of products that absorb oil will dry the surface making the skin think it needs to produce more oil... its a vicious circle. (I will cover this topic in another Blog)

Containing Hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture, & my favourite ingredient Niacinamide brightens, evens skin tone and reduces enlarged pores.... Genius hey!

With refreshing hydrating & soothing cucumber and watermelon extract it feels so cooling in this hot heat plus smells divine.......

Danessa Myricks beauty Yummy skin blur balm powder is nothing short of a miracle! An innovative balm to powder formula that adapts to your skin to control sweat and oil 'All day long' blurs pores and fine lines. I also use it as a prep for eyelids to stop eyeshadow slide.

Laura Mercier, A staple in my kit her Loose translucent setting powder. So finely milled it flawlessly absorbs shine without powdery white cast.

Urban decay finishing/Setting sprays are a must! I keep the original All nighter in there, but just added the All nighter Glow for an added subtle sheen that won't slide.

Kryolan... The GOAT of setting sprays, used in theatre work known to hold make up under the heat of the stage lights. This is when 'serious fix' is needed.

All eyeliners and Mascaras are waterproof, and if I'm mixing a bespoke colour I add a drop of Duraline to create a waterproof product.

(I forgot to mention if there's a freezer around I'm putting my head in it for a minute just to make sure I stay cool as a cucumber}

Hair product are all anti humidity, using my trustee Amika curling wand that takes out frizz and creates Bullet proof curls I brush through for lasting waves
